Over 4,000 Compete in Nationwide Civil Service Exam
This round of the civil service exam will take place nationwide from September 17 to 23. A total of 4,043 citizens have registered for the third-quarter exam. Passing the test qualifies candidates to participate in the special selection process for the civil service, which may lead to future government employment.
For comparison, in the first two rounds of exams earlier this year, 3,515 citizens registered. Of those, 2,408 (68.5 percent) sat the exam, and 1,087 successfully passed, thereby being added to the reserve pool of eligible first-time entrants into the professional civil service.
